Decision-makers see live trend charts and geo-clusters (e.g., dengue A90) alongside operational readiness—beds, ICU capacity, medications, and equipment—so they can anticipate surges and pre-position resources. Threshold rules trigger instant alerts across channels, while “Emma,” the Epidemic Monitoring & Mitigation Assistant, answers natural-language questions (e.g., cases by hospital, which facilities can handle a spike) to speed coordinated action.
The above leads to faster detection, smarter allocation, and resilient operations built on distributed, event-driven AI.
Vega also explained how AI orchestration streamlines hospital discharge.
First is Automatic Plan Creation. When a patient is admitted, the system automatically creates a comprehensive discharge plan tailored to the patient’s condition and expected treatment path.
Second is Continuous Monitoring wherein AI continuously monitors all tasks like laboratory results, medication reconciliation, PhilHealth claim completeness, billing clearance, nursing summaries, and pharmacy fulfillment.
Third is Intelligent Escalation. Vantiq steps in when a task is delayed and automatically alerts the responsible department, escalates based on predefined rules, adjusts downstream steps, and notifies the family and nursing unit.
Last is Automated Approval. Once all conditions are met and verified, the system approves discharge automatically that triggers final notifications and documentation.
