DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Continuously monitor the AI landscape for new tools, frameworks, libraries, and platforms (e.g., LLMs, generative AI, MLOps tools, data analytics platforms).
  2. Identify and research emerging AI technologies and assess their potential impact and applicability to the organization's goals; attend webinars, conferences, and engage with the AI community to stay updated on trends.
  3. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for promising AI tools and solutions.
  4. Evaluate tools based on criteria such as performance, scalability, ease of integration, cost, security, and vendor support; set up and manage testing environments for AI tools.
  5. Develop prototypes and small-scale applications to demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of selected AI tools.
  6. Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to explore integration possibilities of new AI tools into existing systems and workflows.
  7. Create detailed reports and presentations on findings, including comparative analysis of different tools and recommendations.
  8. Maintain a knowledge base of evaluated AI tools, their features, pros, cons, and potential use cases; document testing methodologies, results, and best practices.
  9. Engage with AI tool vendors for demos, technical queries, and support; evaluate vendor documentation and support resources.
  10. Share insights and findings with relevant teams within the organization, and potentially assist in training other team members on new AI tools and technologies.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Adheres to the provisions of the Company's Code of Conduct and Discipline.
  2. Report any fraudulent, suspicious acts or unlawful activities/transactions immediately to the immediate head to pre-empt potential risks to the company.
  3. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Reports to: AI Nexus' Director

Coordinates with: All employees

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on AI/ML technologies.
  2. Proven experience in exploring, evaluating, and integrating third-party software tools and APIs.
  3. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
  4. Hands-on experience with machine learning model development, deployment, and lifecycle management is a plus.
  5. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  6. Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci kit-learn, Hugging Face).
  7. Understanding of various AI domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision,Generative AI, and MLOps.
  8. Experience with API integration and data pipeline development.
  9. Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
  10. Ability to set up and manage development and testing environments.
  11. Basic understanding of data security and privacy principles in AI.
  12. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent research skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
  13. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  14. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  15. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  16. Detail-oriented and methodical in approach to testing and evaluation.
